Sorry I haven't been around lately. I'm trying to go through new deviations, but I want to go through them when I have the time to comment
I've been ridiculously busy with work...I may be moving up to manager quite soon. Lots of responsibility...but a better paycheck & experience
Boyfriend set up my computer today at the new apartment so I will at least be able to edit photos (which I did today)
We still can't live in the new apartment. Health inspector came by and little things need to be changed...nothing drastic. But the landlord has to fix those things and have the inspector come by again. HOPEFULLY by the end of the week, we will be able to live there. In the meantime, we are living with my parents...don't get me wrong, it's okay. I'm use to living on my own. I hate the long drive to work...45 mins to an hour ride. Blehhhhhh.

I'm not one to do tons of editing on a photo, unless I feel like it. I like the sooc feel of the photo. I'm not particular on focus & details. Rather the colors & the overall mood of the photo is what I aim for.

I never trust opinion, I support facts. I don't watch artist's because of their popularity, I watch their art because I'm intrigued by it.

I & move on to the next. I comment when I have something to say.

I support a friendly community. There should be no reason to hate one another. If you have a problem, please solve it & move on with life. No one needs to deal with drama.

I fully support those with the same ideas & same styles. Work together & create something breathtaking.

I like to help out, as much as I can. I'm a busy person, but I always make the time.}

_{What do you love about photography?
What isn't there to love? I love everything there is about it. I love being able to take a picture of anything & turn it into something beautiful (at least in my eyes).
It's not about pleasing other people's views, it's about pleasing my own. I do what I love & I love what I do.

Where is your favorite place to shoot?
Anywhere really. Whether in the middle of the hustle & bustle of the city, or out in a serene nature setting.

If you could take photos any where in the world, where would you go?
Place that I haven't been before. I haven't been outside of the area in a while, it was a treat going to Florida not too long ago. But I would love to go to my heritage {Norway} & caputre some of their beauty on film.

Black & white or color?
Depends on the mood I am trying to convey. Black & white photos portray more drama in my opinion. I love both.

Old school or digital?
Digital. I have tons upon tons of film from old cameras to develop.
I like being able to download photos directly from my camera.

What is your favorite camera brand?
So far, I haven't had any problems with Canon. I've only had Kodak, Canon, & Olympus.

What type of photography would you want to specialize in most?
Anything naturific. I adore the beauty of nature.

How long have you been taking photos?
For as long as I've had a camera...since my young teenage years? I didn't actually get "into" photography, what I am into now, until I bought my Kodak camera in '06 or '07. That's when I started snapping & editing. Nothing major. Never posted anything online.
Plus, I had better things to do with my time than sit at a computer editing photos for hours & uploading them online.
As of recent, I felt confident enough to post them online & I can see improvements.

If you could shoot with any photographer, who would it be?
Michael O'Neil. His works leaves me breathless. He has been a family friend for years. His work... Here

If you could shoot with any model, who would it be?
Eh, not really one to shoot models. Not really what I'm into. It doesn't hurt to try does it?

Big camera bag or small?
I'd say it was average size. I don't have a million lenses or anything.

If you had to take a guess, how many photos do you think u take in a year?
Oh gosh...I take photos of random things. I also take a lot of photos of the same thing in order to get the photo I want. I'm still learning a lot. But I'm learning by experimenting on my own.

If money wasn't an issue, what camera would u buy?
The most expensive one!

What kind of camera do you have?
Canon Rebel XSI {450D}

Is photoshop cheating?
Not quite. I do admire photographers that can get a perfect shot sooc. But a little retouching goes a long way.

How did you get into photography?
The club that I was in at college actually. I went out and bought a camera to capture events and such, never got around to doing much of that so I took pictures of everything else.
& my boyfriend now encouraged me to go on with it even though he had a rough past with a photographer. But, I'm different.

Is it your passion?
Guilty.

What is the most random place you've photographed?
Anything/everything is random when you are doing drive-by shots. Which I have been doing for years now...believe it or not.

What inspires you?
Life, nature, beauty, emotions. The list goes on.

What lenses do you have for your camera?
Canon 18-55mm; Sigma 70-300 APO Macro/Telephoto. I have some in mind that I want to get. Not sure when that will happen. I have other priorities.

Was there a defining moment when you knew this is what you wanted to do?
Not really, no. Just fell into it. It's not a career choice by any means. Just something to express myself.

Have you taken pictures of strangers?
Of course.

If so, did they know that you did?
I'm sneaky.

What single photograph you have tooken has the most meaning to you?
Every single photo has meaning behind it. The one with the most meaning...any moment in time captured where I was happy, blissfully happy.

Do you base your vacations on where would be good to take pictures?
No. Every place has it's beauty.}
